I'm adding a lumber rack and shell to my shortbed AT4 and trying to figure out the best way to deal with the 3rd cab brake light, I got one from Amazon, but it was almost 1/4" thicker and stuck out. I need something around 1" thick so the shell lines up with the tailgate. Any suggestions?

Yeah, you'll want a flush-mount LED brake light that's about 1 thick to keep everything looking neat.Check out recessed options from truck outfitters or camper shell suppleirs like Leer or A.R.E. Make sure to grab a good gasket or seal to keep it watertight. That should help with the fit

Get you. Some of the Amazon lights are just chunky for no reason!!! Pretty sure Putco or Recon will have something for you. Lights that sit tight and clean :) Should line up better with your setup.

Yeah I'll check out those flush-mount LED options from Leer and A.R.E, I definitely want to get a good gasket to avoid any water leaks

Have you used Putco or Recon lights before? How's their fit and quality compared to Amazon ones?

Putco and Recon are way better than the usual Amazon junk deffo, their fit is spot on cos they're made for trucks, so no weird gaps or having to fudge mounts, I assure you its the way

I couldn't agree more. Putco and Recon really excel in both fit and finish. It's definitely a safer bet than taking a chance on random items from Amazon. Great choice
