I'm finally getting my 2025 custom Yukon AT4! I've been waiting for more than 1.5 years.
Now I'm trying to add a performance exhaust, but the "build your own" webpage is totally confusing me. There are two different options with two different prices!

Under the "mechanical options" section, there's a cat back performance exhaust.

But then, under "performance upgrades," there's another option that says made by BORLA. the prices aren't that different tho'.

What's the deal here? What's the difference between these two, and which one should I get? I've attached some pictures for reference. Any insight would be awesome!

Awesome news on the incoming AT4 after such a long wait! Did you get a final delivery date yet? The 2 exhaust choices on the builder represent 2 different tiers of sound and branding. The standard "performance exhaust" is the GM accessory part, designed to be a step up from the stock system. The Borla-branded option is a premium system developed with a leading aftermarket company known for a more aggressive and signature exhaust note. Both are warranty-safe cat-back systems, so your choice really comes down to what sound profile you want for your new truck.

Its a basic performance upgrade offered by GM, while the BORLA one is an aftermarket branded system with different sound and materials. BORLA tends to be stainless steel, louder, and more durable, so BORLA for more aggressive tone and longevity and for mild upgrade without extra flair, the standard cat back should be fine.
