I took my 2500 AT4 for a weekend getaway along the coast with my family. We mostly cruised on the highway at speeds between 65 and 70 mph, with a bit of stop-and-go traffic in the towns. By the end of the trip, we covered 310 miles and used about 17 gallons, which gives me an average of around 18.2 mpg. The dashboard read slightly lower, but overall, I'm pretty impressed with the fuel efficiency.

That's some solid mileage, especially for a 2500 gas model! My 2024 AT4 with the 6.2L 1500 gets similar numbers on the highway, usually sitting right around 18-19 mpg on longer trips, but I've seen it creep higher with a tailwind and gentle foot. The dash usually reads about the same for me too. Have you noticed any difference in mpg when running in different drive modes, like off-road or terrain mode, or just regular tour?

Thos are some pretty good numbers considering that thing weighs as much as a small house. And yes, computers can be a bit conservative at times, but as long as the difference isn't massive it's not a problem.

@Rigged4Mud840 nice run! 18-ish mpg for a 2500 on a family trip isn’t bad at all. Did you notice any big changes in fuel economy if you switched drive modes, or mostly stuck to normal cruise?
